Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (VP, FP&A) to lead our financial planning initiatives in Norwalk, CT. You'll be a key partner to the CFO, driving financial strategy, providing critical insights, and ensuring the financial health of our growing organization. This role demands a seasoned leader with exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the ability to influence key business decisions.
What You’ll Do
Lead strategic financial planning:

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
  • Provide strategic financial advice and support to the senior management team.
  • Identify and analyze financial trends, providing actionable insights for investment, cost reduction, and strategic business decisions.
Deliver Impactful Financial Analysis
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of operational budgets to senior management.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including the preparation of financial statements.
Manage External Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and procedures, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements.
Ensure Financial Compliance
  • Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls.
  • Manage internal audit programs, including continuous monitoring and follow-up on audit findings.
  • Develop and implement long-term audit strategies.
  • Coordinate financial statements review with external auditors.
Leadership & Change Management
  • Inspire and lead others through vision, confidence, challenge, and recognition.
  • Champion organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead the translation of broad organizational change strategies into specific directions and goals.
What You Bring
  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, with a strong focus on FP&A.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proven track record of managing SEC reporting and compliance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (MBA preferred).

Work Environment
Schedule: Standard hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm EST. Due to the global nature of the role, flexibility may be required to attend evening meetings, conference calls, or contribute additional work input outside of core hours.
Work Setting: HMTX Corporate Headquarters, Norwalk, CT
The salary range for this role is $200,000 to $240,000 a year and a yearly bonus potential. This range is applicable for jobs performed in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, and business organizational needs.
