About the role:
This role is responsible for leading procurement and supply chain functions across the organization for mega critical infrastructure projects. The position involves developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, optimizing supply chain processes, overseeing global supply partners, maintaining quality standards, and managing resources efficiently to drive operational excellence and cost savings. The role reports to the Chief Nuclear Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans based on industry trends, customer requirements, and business objectives.
- Oversee supply chain operations, including sourcing, logistics, inventory management, quality, and distribution.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to mitigate supply disruptions.
- Drive procurement strategies and engage suppliers to meet business goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain and procurement processes.
- Build and implement procurement processes to ensure timely fulfillment, focusing on long lead items.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a robust supply chain.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with policies and regulations.
- Analyze data to inform decisions and improve effectiveness, utilizing digital technologies.
- Align supply chain strategies with organizational goals to build a competitive supply chain.
- Collaborate internally and externally to reduce costs and execute contracts.
- Provide analysis to support market positioning and growth.
- Assess potential suppliers on quality, capabilities, and past performance through audits and site visits.
- Engage with client leaders to understand requirements and develop solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement and supply chain team.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and storage regulations for materials.
- Establish world-class material management and tracking processes.
Experience:
- 10+ years in procurement or supply chain management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role; experience in highly regulated industries preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of leading procurement transformations and process implementations.
- Expertise in procurement best practices, processes, and technologies.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Deep understanding of procurement compliance and risk management.
- Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks.
- Willingness to travel.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $242,000 - $274,000 annually, before taxes and deductions. Actual salary may vary based on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors.
