RxSense is seeking a strategic, market-facing leader to serve as our Director, Consultant Relations and Growth Strategy. This highly collaborative role will focus on engaging key external influencers (including drug benefit consultants, healthcare consultants, and brokers), shaping RxSense’s competitive positioning, and aligning Sales and Marketing around a clear, differentiated value story. The ideal candidate brings a blend of sales acumen, market insight, and deep understanding of the healthcare and pharmacy benefits landscape. This role is critical in ensuring RxSense is visible, well-understood, and favorably positioned in key markets—and in helping Sales convert that perception into growth.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Market Engagement & Consultant Relations
  2. Build and manage relationships with key national and regional benefit consultants, brokers, and market influencers.
  3. Educate the market on RxSense’s capabilities, engagement models, and points of differentiation.
  4. Serve as a liaison between external stakeholders and internal teams to anticipate opportunities, and refine and strengthen positioning and deal strategy.
  5. Collect and share field feedback to shape messaging, RFP responses, sales strategies, and go-to-market approach.
  1. Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights
  2. Track and analyze competitor offerings, pricing strategies, partnerships, and market activity across the PBM and healthcare space.
  3. Monitor industry development and trends that impact client needs or buyer dynamics.
  4. Identify areas where RxSense can differentiate, innovate, or lead emerging conversations.
  5. Manage competitive intelligence efforts, including oversight of external consultants and third-party research engagements.
  1. Sales & Marketing Alignment
  2. Partner with Sales to bring market insights into sales cycles and opportunity strategy.
  3. Collaborate with Marketing to refine value propositions, messaging, and content for external audiences.
  4. Support development of strategic messaging and positioning that aligns with buyer priorities, competitive dynamics, and market trends.

Qualifications include 5+ years of experience in healthcare, PBM, health tech, or benefits consulting; experience working with or directly within national consulting firms (e.g., PSG, Mercer, Aon, Lockton, WTW) is required. Sales, account management, or business development experience in complex B2B or healthcare environments is strongly preferred. A strong understanding of the pharmacy benefit ecosystem and consultant/broker influence in the buying process is essential. Candidates should have excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with proven ability to translate market and competitor intelligence into strategy and action. Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is also necessary.
