Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Press Brake Operator with experience in Press Brakes and CNC controls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating press brake machines to bend and form metal components to precise specifications. This role is essential to maintaining high-quality fabrication standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheet and plate
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to determine proper setup and tooling
  • Program machine controls to adjust for material type, thickness, and desired bend angles
  • Perform quality checks using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications
  • Monitor machine operation, make adjustments as needed, and perform minor maintenance or troubleshooting
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards
  • Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines
  • Report material shortages, equipment malfunctions, or quality issues promptly
Requirements:
  • Proven experience operating press brake machines and working with CNC controls is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Familiarity with various metals (aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, etc.) and their forming properties
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, protractors)
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Must follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times
