Lead Press Brake Setup/Operator
Peabody, MA
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Press Brake Lead Setup/Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and verifying medium to complex jobs while driving improvements in department performance, safety, and overall productivity. This is a leadership position overseeing up to six team members, with influence across multiple departments.
Lead Press Brake Setup/Operator Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, operate, and verifying medium to complex jobs using a variety of machinery with a focus on Press Brake operations.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of up to six employees to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Interpret job requirements and operational specifications to ensure efficient and accurate job execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other supervisors and departments to improve production processes and resolve operational challenges.
Lead Press Brake Setup/Operator Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a press brake setup lead.
- Certified and highly skilled in operating, programming, and setting up Amada RG Series press brakes with NC9EX controls.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead Press Brake Setup/Operator Compensation:
- $25 - $35 an hour dependent on experience
