Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our agency.
Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including handling renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and addressing their insurance needs
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, issue new policies, and process claims
• Proactively identify opportunities for account rounding and cross-selling additional insurance products
• Stay current on industry trends, insurance products, and underwriting guidelines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Contribute to the overall success of the agency by meeting or exceeding retention and growth goals

Qualifications/Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of previous independent agency experience required
• Strong understanding of personal insurance products, coverages, and underwriting
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Detail-oriented and organized with a strong customer focus
• Proficient in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
