Hours: Midnight to 8am

POSITIONSUMMARY:
This is moderate tocomplex office work in the Office of Residence Life requiring considerableindependent judgment, the ability to be highly organized and excellentinterpersonal skills. *The schedule forthis position will be five days per week. Applicants must be willing to work weekends and holidays.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures the safety of all residents.
Monitors the identification of allresidents and guests entering the building.
Facilitates the guest sign-in policy.
Enforces visitation and alcoholpolicies.
Receives, screens and refers telephonecalls and visitors.
Serves as the main point of contactfor the Residence Life Duty Desk.
Refers duty calls to Resident Directoron Call as necessary.
Liaison with Facilities Management onafter-hour maintenance request and follow-up.
Alerts Residence Life staff of anyunusual circumstances.
Answers inquiries from the campus andgeneral community.
Completesother duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
Previous work-related experience.
Alternately, the successful candidate may possess any equivalent combination ofexperience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilitiesrequired to perform the essential job functions. This includes, but is notlimited to, the following:
Ability to stay alert;
Ability to actquickly and responsibly;
Ability to identify potential problems and unsafeconditions.
Ability toestablish and maintain effective working relationships with the UniversityCommunity.
