Description of Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Office of Educational Pathways for International Centers and Students (EPICS) also known as the Office of Global Engagement, provides international activities and intercultural events on campus.
Responsibilities:
- General clerical work including: data entry/management, answering telephone, preparing bulk mailings, greeting and assisting visitors, opening and distributing mail, copying and filing.
- Support creation and editing of website content and social media posts.
- Attend EPICS campus events, greet international students, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have an interest in international studies and cultures
- Self-starter, able to think on their feet, and pay attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with others
- Enjoys working as part of a team, but is equally comfortable working independently
- Prioritize assignments and adhere to deadlines
- Handle sensitive materials with confidentiality
- Knowledge of FERPA
- Knowledgeable of Social Media
- Foreign language skills a plus
