Position Summary

We are looking for an Electronics Technician 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) Business Unit. You will be part of a team designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities
  • Perform technical tasks such as on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems.
  • Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers.
  • Ensure the functionality and reliability of various technologies.
  • Analyze project safety plans and enforce adherence to policies.
  • Interpret and assess project drawings for constructability.
  • Verify charges in timesheets and execute installation activities within planned durations.
  • Manage tools and equipment, including inspections and inventory.
  • Participate in daily safety meetings and testing procedures.
  • Install system raceways, cabling, equipment racks, enclosures, panels, and mounting hardware, ensuring proper grounding and NEC standards compliance.
  • Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices and network equipment.
  • Coordinate with project teams and document field conditions.
Qualifications
  • Active SECRET security clearance; ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED; military electronics training (minimum 720 hours).
  • At least 4 years of experience in electronics installation and maintenance across multiple systems and customer programs.
  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV, and related systems.
  • Graduation from an electronics or electrical apprenticeship program.
  • 3+ years focused on electronic security systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Pay Range

USD $30.00 - USD $44.15 per hour
