Job Title: Insurance Analyst (Finance)

Job Summary: The Insurance Analyst contributes to corporate insurance programs, including policy placement and renewal, insurance tracking, claims management, contractor insurance reviews, and handling workers' compensation, auto, property, and liability claims. Ensuring all insurance contracts are reviewed and claims are managed efficiently and accurately is critical.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 Years of experience
  • ARM, CPCU, AIC, or Licensed Claim Adjuster (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage communication with insurance brokers for timely insurance applications and submissions, ensuring on-time coverage placement and receipt of policies. Distribute auto-ID cards and proof of insurance as needed.
  2. Review contracts for non-standard indemnity and insurance language; advise stakeholders on appropriate coverages and compliance with standards and regulations. Analyze risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  3. Coordinate with claims adjusters for workers' compensation, auto liability, property damage, and general liability claims. Provide settlement recommendations, maintain claim tracking, and report statuses regularly.
  4. Participate in CITGO Emergency Management Program, advising on incident responses and resource needs.
  5. Respond to financial flow requests, audit questions, and provide claims reports as required.
  6. Monitor and respond to legislative proposals affecting the insurance program.
