Company Description
Service Measure (SM) is a field data collection company founded in 2013 in New York.
We collect data where automation is not possible. We count features, take pictures, make videos, record speech, and scan areas for every detail you need to make more informed decisions. Our field data collection teams are spread across Europe and North America, ready to accept new challenges.
Project Objective
The goal of the project is to help collect images of streets, main points of interest, and public areas in the USA. The project involves vehicles equipped with 360 cameras that capture images around the vehicle, which are then stored on onboard computers. This data will be used to enhance online maps.
The data collectors will follow specific routes around public streets and areas, including commercial districts and historical sites. Due to weather conditions, some areas may need to be visited multiple times to ensure quality. The project duration is estimated to be 3 to 6 months, covering different areas.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate enjoys driving, knows the area well, is responsible and reliable.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week. Weekend work may be required due to weather conditions.
Requirements
- Valid Driver License
- Good driving skills and clean record
- Knowledge of cars is a plus
- Enjoys driving during standard hours
- Available for at least 3 months
- Private monitored parking for vehicle
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Tech-savvy (Gmail, Google Forms, Google Meet)
- Responsible, self-motivated, detail-oriented
- Pass background check (criminal and driving record)
