Pay Information $2,151 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to read basic telemetry strips - Some experience with CVA and TIA - Total joint replacement experience - Cerner experience recommended Description: Unit note: Clinician must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing the contract. If the clinician fails to score 80% within two attempts, they will be ineligible for 6 months. Candidates may not have been employed with any facility associated within the past year. Unit has 49 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5. Charge Nurse and House Supervisor are both present. There are Nurse Aides on the unit with a ratio of 1:10-15. Equipment includes BiPap, CPAP, and breathing treatments. Self-scheduling is used but is not final until the manager balances the shifts. Weekend requirement is two weekends per four-week schedule. Holiday requirements include working two days and one evening or two evenings and one day during major holidays. Floating may be required to other departments if qualified. Scrub color is navy blue. Cancellation policy is four shifts per contract.
