ROLE SUMMARY
The Director, Sales and Marketing Analytics and Reporting is a strategic leadership role responsible for building and optimizing the analytics and reporting that powers commercial decision-making across Lindblad's Sales and Marketing teams.
In this role, you will generate the insights that drive revenue, optimize customer acquisition and retention strategies, support campaign performance tracking, and measure the ROI of sales and marketing activities. Your work will influence executive decisions and cross-functional strategies, ensuring Lindblad's commercial teams are guided by accurate, timely, and actionable data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
$140,000 - $155,000 a year
This role is eligible for a 10% annual bonus, and equity award, based on performance and Board of Director approval.

COMPENSATION STATEMENT
Lindblad Expeditions determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analytics Strategy & Leadership
- Define and own the analytics roadmap across sales and marketing performance metrics, working across teams to define reporting requirements and engaging with internal data/technical teams to implement those reports
- Establish and maintain dashboards and regular reports to guide executive and departmental decision-making
- Align analytics initiatives with the annual go-to-market and promotional planning cycles of the Sales and Marketing teams
- Act as a liaison across teams to ensure consistent and coordinated measurement of joint initiatives
- Sales Analytics
- Further enhance our sales reporting capabilities using Salesforce and other enterprise data to support channel strategy and performance management
- Analyze trends, territory performance, and advisor segmentation
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of our incentive, commission, and override programs
- Partner with Sales leadership to identify optimization opportunities
- Marketing Analytics
- Lead performance measurement of omnichannel marketing efforts, including digital campaigns, email, social, print, and direct mail for both the B2C and B2B channels
- Support customer segmentation, personalization, and targeting efforts through advanced analytics
- Reporting
- Build and manage automated reporting systems and dashboards by leveraging existing tools and analytics infrastructure
- Create powerpoint presentations for multiple different teams and meetings
- Tailor reporting formats and communication styles to suit audiences ranging working teams of strategic managers to senior executives
- Ensure data integrity across marketing platforms and data warehouses
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Revenue Management, Finance, and IT teams to align reporting structures and data definitions
- Provide executive-level insights and reporting for quarterly business reviews, board presentations, and strategic planning
- This position is located in Orlando, FL and requires working in-office three days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in marketing and/or sales analytics
- Deep experience using BI reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to support enterprise reporting and analytics use cases; hands-on familiarity with data warehouse and lake infrastructure (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, or similar). Experience designing and developing advanced dashboards and visualizations with conditional logic & slicers
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar) and leveraging that data for analytics use cases.
- Superb powerpoint skills and storytelling abilities, with demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear business narratives and actionable recommendations for CEO and Board level presentations
- A passion for exploration, sustainability, and inspiring human connection through travel
- MBA or equivalent industry experience
- SQL experience
- Experience with digital analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics)
- Experience in the travel or hospitality space
