Title : HSE /Quality Supervisor

Job Duties:
- Manage and improve established quality assurance processes and systems.
- Lead problem-solving efforts and implement process enhancements using lean methodologies.
- Support safety protocols by identifying risks within quality control procedures and fostering a safety-focused environment.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external quality audits (ISO, TS, etc.).
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on quality standards and best practices for safety.
- Utilize statistical tools like control charts and gage R&R to monitor and enhance processes.
- Collaborate closely with production teams to resolve quality issues and exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of quality metrics and incidents.
- Organize and lead weekly safety meetings and safety programs.
- Perform scheduled safety audits to maintain compliance and enhance safety measures.
- Develop and implement training programs for managers and employees in workplace safety practices, fire prevention, and chemical handling.
- Analyze plant reports and investigate industrial accidents and health hazards, recommending corrective actions as needed.
- Inspect facilities to identify potential accident and health hazards, implement preventive measures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with Regional HSE Manager during accident investigations and support in legal and insurance matters.
- Maintain safety records and files according to regulatory requirements.
- Associate's degree in a related field, combined with 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing quality (preferably in high-volume metal fabrication). Candidates without a degree will be considered if they have 7-10 years of relevant experience.
- Background in operational excellence methodologies such as Six Sigma or Kaizen is beneficial.
- Familiarity with ISO or TS quality standards is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quality/statistical software.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Energetic, proactive approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety.
