**This position qualifies for an appointment incentive of $5,000, to the selected applicant who agrees to work for the facility for a minimum of twelve (12) months**
Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital is searching for a dedicated Cook to be a part of our amazing team!
This position is responsible for preparing family-style meals for patients. The cook follows diets as determined by the treatment team upon consultation with a certified Dietician. Assist in serving meals and cleaning up after meals. Convert recipes into large scale food preparation. Provide input regarding food orders which are placed on a weekly basis. Performs other related duties as assigned. Must be able to work on holidays and weekends. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.
This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Candidate must successfully pass a background screening.
