Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- Over 10 years of experience in hardware and firmware design in defense or aerospace manufacturing (required).
- Proven expertise in designing high-power and mixed-signal electronic circuits, including components such as electrical fans, servo motor drives, and system interface modules.
- Proficient in the use of design and development software, including Cadence OrCAD 16.5 (or newer), Keil 5 (or newer), Autodesk Eagle 9 (or newer), C/C++, C#, Microsoft Office applications, RTOS, and circuit simulation tools.
- Skilled in electrical testing and board/system-level troubleshooting using common electronic testing instruments (e.g., oscilloscope, frequency counter, spectrum analyzer, curve tracer).
- Experience in project and/or program management.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality standards.
- Familiarity with U.S. Department of Defense requirements (highly desirable).
Responsibilities
- Lead research and development efforts for high-performance variable-speed brushless DC motors and fan assemblies, including axial, mixed-flow, and centrifugal configurations.
- Develop hardware and firmware for controller systems used in pumping applications.
- Design and implement hardware and firmware for sensor-based devices, including flow sensors and configurable control units.
- Provide engineering expertise to support production activities.
- Contribute to the development of new business proposals, including cost analysis and technical evaluation.
