Join Xylem’s dynamic team in Texarkana, AR! We’re seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations across all three shifts.
As a Manufacturing Production Supervisor at Xylem, you will lead a team of production staff to ensure efficient operations, meet customer demands, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Location : Texarkana, AR (30 Globe Avenue)
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and support production staff to meet daily output goals efficiently.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing feedback and disciplinary action as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies.
- Maintain production schedules to achieve a minimum 97% on-time delivery rate.
- Facilitate training on machine operation, safety protocols, and company procedures.
- Communicate production data and updates to all levels of management.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and a clean, organized work environment.
- Uphold the terms of the collective bargaining agreement with the USW.
- Participate in internal and external training and volunteer initiatives (Xylem Watermark).
Qualifications :
- High School diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage confidential information and prioritize tasks.
Work Environment :
This role involves both office and manufacturing floor settings. Physical requirements include occasional lifting (up to 35 lbs) and exposure to varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
Compensation & Benefits: The estimated salary range for this position is $72,000 to $75,000 , plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus. Starting pay will be determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and work location, and may not begin at the top of the range.
