We’re seeking an experienced Accounting and Finance Recruiter to join our client’s growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in candidate sourcing and placement within a staffing agency environment, who thrives in a delivery-focused role without the pressure of business development.

Our client is a New York City–based recruitment firm that specializes in placing Accounting and Finance professionals across Financial Services. They offer a collaborative, high-performance environment with strong client relationships already in place.
Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing and Engagement
- Source top-tier Accounting and Finance professionals across a variety of roles and seniority levels
- Conduct initial screenings, in-depth interviews, and candidate assessments to ensure strong fit
- Manage and maintain a robust pipeline of talent for active and future roles
- Utilize LinkedIn, job boards, internal ATS, and other sourcing tools for proactive talent identification
Recruitment Delivery
- Collaborate closely with client-facing team members to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
- Own the candidate journey from sourcing through to offer stage and onboarding
- Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and manage offer negotiations
- Ensure timely and effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Market Intelligence
- Stay up to date on hiring trends, candidate expectations, and salary benchmarks within the Accounting & Finance sector
- Provide insight to the team on candidate market feedback and sourcing challenges
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2–5 years of experience in a staffing agency, focused on Accounting and Finance placements
- Proven ability to deliver top candidates in a fast-paced, competitive market
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience using an ATS and other sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
- A collaborative, delivery-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and speed
