Leasing Consultant (San Jose, CA)


LHH is teaming up with a residential property management organization in San Jose, CA in search of a Leasing Consultant to support daily leasing operations and resident engagement at a 300+ unit community.

The ideal candidate is friendly, proactive, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. They bring experience with affordable housing programs, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn and ask questions. A team-oriented mindset and punctuality are key.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents with leasing applications
  • Manage leasing files and re-certifications
  • Handle walk-ins and phone inquiries with professionalism
  • Collaborate with team members to support daily operations


Qualifications:

  • Prior leasing experience required
  • Experience with LIHTC / Section 42 leasing paperwork required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel (basic), and Outlook required
  • Experience with Yardi and Site Manager / Rent Café preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Comfortable handling walk-ins and multitasking
  • Punctual and open to training


Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Fully on-site in San Jose, CA

Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 5 days/week (likely Tuesday–Saturday; some flexibility required)

Pay Rate: $24-$26/hour
