Senior Payroll Specialist – (Hybrid/Contract) - (7-9 months)
Reports to: Sr. Payroll Manager / Sr. Global Payroll Director
Job Overview:
We have an immediate opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to support our payroll department. The role involves processing payroll tasks for all employees, ensuring accuracy in payments, deductions, and tax compliance as part of the payroll team. This position is crucial in maintaining timely and accurate payroll operations while also handling any payroll-related inquiries.
Workday experience required . Payroll certification is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll for 1,000+ employees, located in several states including salaried and hourly employees as part of the payroll team. Ensure all payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, and deductions, is accurately calculating on employees pay.
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any payroll issues in a timely manner. Prepare payroll reports for management and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Maintain employee payroll records regarding earnings, deductions, and taxes in accordance with legal requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Assist with International payrolls. Other assigned tasks as needed.
• Tasks include the following:
- Analyze and audit 401K Deferral and 401K Loan files
- Process all new hires and terminations
- Review and audit administrative changes
- Run retro calculation and save retro reports
- Prepare and analyze audit reports, such as transportation, lunch gross up and remote work from home allowance.
