Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and efficient operation of the warehouse supporting utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely inbound and outbound logistics, proper material handling, warehouse safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Manager will interface with logistics, supply chain, project execution, field service, and China headquarter ERP teams to ensure seamless operations and timely support to projects and field teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatching.
  • Ensure inventory control accuracy through regular physical counts and reconciliation with ERP systems.
  • Lead and support the implementation and continuous improvement of warehouse management processes and documentation (e.g., Operation Description Sheets).
  • Maintain accurate and efficient warehouse layout and material flow to meet service schedules and site delivery requirements.
  • Ensure all shipping and receiving operations meet company and customer timelines and requirements.
  • Oversee material handling equipment (MHE) use, maintenance, and team training.
  • Coordinate closely with logistics, purchasing, and supply chain teams to resolve inbound/outbound discrepancies.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment, ensuring compliance with company safety protocols and OSHA standards.
  • Drive performance metrics, cost control, and budget adherence.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse data reporting and process optimization via ERP and WMS systems.
  • Support warehouse readiness for O&M service mobilizations and project deployments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in inventory management, industrial distribution, and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of material handling, warehousing best practices, and supply chain processes.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate warehouse teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); advanced ERP/WMS system user.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Forklift and MHE operation certification (or ability to be certified).
  • Experience in energy, industrial, or construction warehouse environments preferred.
  • Bilingual -English and Mandarin is highly preferred.
