We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will oversee all phases of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.


Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation. Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control measures are implemented to avoid overruns.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless collaboration and timely completion of tasks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address issues such as delays, safety concerns, or unforeseen challenges.
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards, contract specifications, and client expectations through regular inspections and quality assurance processes.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Create and maintain project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project or Primavera, adjusting as needed to accommodate changes or delays.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3-5 years of experience working on commercial ground-up projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
