Job Description: Motorcycle Service Advisor - RAW CYCLES About RAW CYCLES: RAW CYCLES is a premier motorcycle shop dedicated to providing top-notch service, repairs, and customization for riders. We're looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team and be the crucial link between our customers and our workshop. Position Summary: The Service Advisor at RAW CYCLES is the first point of contact for customers seeking service or repair work for their motorcycles. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, accurately diagnosing customer concerns, creating detailed repair orders, and communicating effectively throughout the entire service process. Your goal is to ensure a seamless and positive experience for every customer, from the moment they walk in the door to the moment they ride away on their freshly serviced bike. Key Responsibilities: \* Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and professionally, actively listen to their concerns, and translate their needs into clear and concise service requests. \* Service & Repair Consultation: Conduct initial inspections of motorcycles with the customer, advise them on recommended maintenance, repairs, and accessories, and provide accurate cost estimates and timelines. \* Work Order Management: Create detailed and accurate work orders for the service technicians, ensuring all customer concerns and requested services are clearly documented. \* Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the customer and the service department. Provide regular updates on the status of their service, explain the nature of any required repairs, and obtain authorization for additional work. \* Upselling & Sales: Identify opportunities to recommend additional services, parts, or accessories that would benefit the customer and enhance their riding experience. \* Scheduling & Coordination: Manage the service schedule, book appointments, and coordinate with the service manager and technicians to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of work. \* Quality Control: Perform a final walk-around inspection of motorcycles with the customer upon completion of service to ensure all work has been performed to their satisfaction. \* Administrative Tasks: Handle payment processing, warranty claims, and maintain accurate customer and service records. \* Problem Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to management when necessary. \* Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of various motorcycle makes, models, and systems, as well as the parts, accessories, and services offered by RAW CYCLES. Qualifications: \* Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in an automotive, motorcycle, or powersports service environment. \* Strong knowledge of motorcycle mechanics, parts, and maintenance. \* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. \* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. \* Proficiency in computer software and a willingness to learn our shop management system. \* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. \* A passion for motorcycles and the riding community. \* High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus. Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that may include weekends and some holidays. The role involves a mix of desk work and time spent in the shop, interacting with customers and technicians. The Service Advisor will be exposed to a workshop environment with varying noise levels and temperatures.
