Human Resources Generalist - Job Description
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
General Description:
The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting our employees and leaders by providing day-to-day HR guidance and operational support. This role ensures compliance with policies, assists with employee relations, maintains compensation standards, and supports HR programs that align with our mission of connecting patients, professionals, and employers to bring better health care to more people.

Essential Job Functions:
- Lead HR compliance activities including audits, EEO and state reporting, and adherence to all state/federal labor laws
- Support HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, recognition programs, and training sessions
- Ensure compensation standards are adhered to by updating, maintaining, and communicating job grades and wage information to talent acquisition and hiring managers
- Support compensation committee activities and decisions by providing compensation data and analysis
- Partner with HR leadership to resolve employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner
- Provide daily HR support to employees and managers, addressing questions on policies, and procedures
- Assist HR leadership, talent acquisition, and training with continuously improving onboarding, orientation, and trainings to promote employee engagement and retention
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HRIS data integrity
- Contribute to process improvements and HR projects that enhance employee experience, create efficiencies, and ensure compliance
- Help to create an environment of high morale, motivation and teamwork
- Other duties as assigned
- 4+ years of HR experience, ideally in healthcare staffing, professional staffing, or a fast-paced service environment
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices required
- Bachelors degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred; or equivalent work experience
- Experience working for a multi-state employer required
- Experience working with compensation and variable pay in a sales/commission environment preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to present and communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with HR systems (Dayforce/Ceridian a plus) and MS Office Suite
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Must successfully complete onboarding training/tutorials and attend future webcasts/trainings as required

Work Location:
This position is primarily remote. However, candidates who reside near one of our office locations Salt Lake City, UT; Buffalo, NY; Dallas, TX; Dayton, OH; or Charleston, SC may be considered for a hybrid schedule. Please note that fully remote work may not be available in all cases.
