Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 6-12 years of tax experience
- CPA certification strongly preferred
- Real estate tax experience (industry or public accounting)
- Advanced Excel skills
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external tax consultants for tax return preparation, filings, and compliance
- Prepare tax work papers and projections
- Respond to notices from agencies and organizations
- Review financial statements related to tax reporting
- Develop internal processes, controls, and efficiencies around compliance
- Identify and mitigate tax risks, including SOX controls
