About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SEC Reporting Manager to join a public company in Santa Clarita. The successful candidate will handle disclosures, technical memos, footnotes, MDA, stock administration, SEC filings, and assist with the annual audit. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 7+ years of accounting experience
- SEC reporting experience from public accounting and/or industry
- Active CPA or in the process of obtaining it
- Advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with SEC reporting software
Key Responsibilities
- File SEC forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and Proxy
- Consolidate financial statements, footnotes, and schedules
- Coordinate with outside auditors
- Perform technical accounting research and create memos
- Manage equity and stock administration
- Lead regulatory reviews
- Analyze debt covenants
- Oversee revenue recognition
- Support the development and implementation of internal controls
