Peak Performers has partnered with a managed care organization to assist in their search for a Financial Analyst I . In this role you will be responsible for the financial data analytic needs of the organization.
Major duties

• Assist with the premium reconciliation activities of the team, ensuring that all premiums owed are received and ensuring that we receive the correct premium amount from the State
• Assist with audit activities such as preparing Excel files with data requests from auditors
• Use a combination of financial analysis tools and techniques as well as data analysis tools and technologies to generate, analyze, report, and interpret financial and other data used across the organization
• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management; strong process documentation skillset preferred
• Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts
• Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of various systems
• Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement
  

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of statistical or data analysis experience
• Experience with financial analysis focused on month end close, government reporting, and financial forecasting
• Advanced Excel skills, data analysis and interpretation, knowledge of healthcare
• Detail oriented, technical proficiency
  

About This Position

• Rate: $30.00-$30.18/hr
• Days / Hours: 8:30AM-5PM EST - 7.5 hours - 1 hour lunch
• Contract length: 2 months with extension opportunity
• Remote in CST or EST
