Description

We invite qualified candidates to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine and Ob/Gyn team, providing patient-centered obstetric and gynecologic care.
As an OB/GYN sonographer, you will perform early obstetrical ultrasound, including transabdominal and transvaginal scans, and be cross-trained in detailed fetal anatomical surveys, fetal growth assessments, and cervical length measurements. You should have a keen interest in prenatal diagnosis and OB ultrasound.
Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, imaging according to protocol, reviewing cases with the care team, and generating reports. Familiarity with imaging IT issues is required. Additional duties may be assigned.
Depending on experience, the position may be hired as a Sr. Ultrasound Tech or Principal Ultrasound Tech.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- RDMS in OB/GYN
- BART or BLS certification at hire, with commitment to obtain BART within 6 months
- Continued education in MFM ultrasound (15-20 CMEs every 36 months)
- Recent OB ultrasound experience
- Effective communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of maternal-fetal conditions and fetal anatomy
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent GYN ultrasound experience
- 2-3 years OB fetal ultrasound experience

- Ability to work at various San Diego locations
- Background check and physical required
Pay range: $130,229 - $161,966 annually, prorated if less than 100% appointment.
Additional employment conditions apply, including compliance with vaccination policies and life-support certifications.
