Sun World International is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our dynamic global Human Resources team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of HR within an international context. The HR Intern will support our HR initiatives across different regions, contributing to projects that impact our global workforce. This role is ideal for a proactive individual eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
Duties:
•Assist with the administration of HR processes and programs across various international locations, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
•Support day-to-day operations, including data entry, file management, and responding to general HR inquiries
•Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience regardless of their location
•Assist with updating, entering, and engagement in HRIS - Paylocity
•Conduct research on best practices in global HR, labor laws, and industry trends to support ongoing initiatives
•Assist in the drafting, editing, and review of global HR policies, guidelines, and handbooks
•Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures applicable to a global workforce
•Help obtain and prepare HR metrics and reports
•Assist in drafting internal communications related to global HR announcements and initiatives
•Support general administrative tasks within the team as needed
Requirements:
•Completed or working towards an Associate's degree in HR, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field, with a preference for someone having completed or working towards a Bachelor's degree. Must be at a Junior standing or above.
•Strong interest in a career in Human Resources
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
•Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn
Preferred:
•Familiarity with HRIS or other HR Software
•Knowledge of or interest in international labor laws and regulations
•Fluency in a second language - Spanish preferred

Length of internship : 5.5 months
Pay rate : $20 - $25 per hour
Work schedule: 100% in office. 40 hours per week. If in school, up to 20 hours per week during the semester. Hours: 8am - 4:30pm.
