We are partnering with a fast-paced division of a global business to help them hire a strategic and confident Human Resources Business Partner . Based in Kansas City, this is a direct hire, in-office role that offers high visibility, variety, and the chance to contribute to meaningful HR work from day one. The role supports multiple business units, with travel up to 30% to key sites across the U.S. and internationally.

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day HR support including employee relations, workplace investigations, and policy compliance
- Partner with leaders on succession planning, performance management, and compensation reviews
- Contribute to special projects and ongoing change initiatives across multiple business areas
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor for a wide range of employeesfrom plant operations to high-performing sales teams
- Collaborate with the corporate HR team and maintain strong communication with the HR Director
- Be a visible and engaged presence in the office, available to employees for guidance and support
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive HR generalist or HRBP experience, ideally within sales-driven or fast-paced environments
- Strong understanding of compensation programs and the ability to support pay-related conversations with leaders and employees
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and push back professionally
- Able to handle frequent interruptions and pivot quickly while keeping strategic priorities in view
- Self-starter who thrives in less-structured environments and is comfortable working independently
- High level of resilience, business acumen, and curiosity
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms preferred
- Bachelors degree required
