Human Resources Business Partner . Based in Kansas City, this is a direct hire, in-office role that offers high visibility, variety, and the chance to contribute to meaningful HR work from day one. The role supports multiple business units, with travel up to 30% to key sites across the U.S. and internationally. Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day HR support including employee relations, workplace investigations, and policy compliance Partner with leaders on succession planning, performance management, and compensation reviews Contribute to special projects and ongoing change initiatives across multiple business areas Serve as a trusted HR advisor for a wide range of employees—from plant operations to high-performing sales teams Collaborate with the corporate HR team and maintain strong communication with the HR Director Be a visible and engaged presence in the office, available to employees for guidance and support Requirements: 5+ years of progressive HR generalist or HRBP experience, ideally within sales-driven or fast-paced environments Strong understanding of compensation programs and the ability to support pay-related conversations with leaders and employees Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and push back professionally Able to handle frequent interruptions and pivot quickly while keeping strategic priorities in view Self-starter who thrives in less-structured environments and is comfortable working independently High level of resilience, business acumen, and curiosity Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms preferred Bachelor’s degree required
