About Our Team

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility offering the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care, including 365 beds, over 1,200 employees, and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

Responsibilities

• Render direct patient care and imaging services safely.
• Manage all aspects of radiopharmacy, including dose preparation, administration, and disposal.
• Utilize various imaging equipment throughout the hospital, perform quality control on each.
• Use hospital computer systems such as NMIS, PACS, RIS daily.
• Maintain and document records as required by NRC and DEP.
• Operate gamma cameras confidently and competently.
• Assist physicians with procedures and enhance images via computer.
• Perform intravenous injections using aseptic techniques.
• Consult with patients to gather complete clinical histories.
• Monitor radioactive materials for leakage or damage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Valid NJDEP license.
• ARRT or NMTCB registry.
• BLS certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a hospital setting, including PET/CT experience.

Additional Details

Pay Range Minimum: $33.93/hour. Compensation is based on experience and education, possibly including other pay components such as differentials and call pay.
