ResponsibilitiesRender direct patient care and imaging services in a safe mannerResponsible for all aspects of the Radio pharmacy to include dose preparation, administration, and disposalUtilize various pieces of imaging equipment throughout the hospital, and perform quality control of eachUse various hospital computer systems to include but not limited to NMIS, PACS, RIS as part of normal day-to-day activitiesMaintain and document all records as required by NRC and DEPOperate each gamma camera with confidence and competenceAssist physician in performing procedures, and computer enhancement of imagesUtilize aseptic techniques, and demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injectionsConsult with patients to obtain a complete clinical historyMonitor and record all radioactive materials received in the department for leakage or damagePerform any and all other duties as assigned QualificationsJob RequirementsMust be a graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine programNJDEP licenseARRT or NMTCB registryBLS certificationPreferred Job Requirements5+ years of clinical experience in a hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Experience with PET/CTPay Range Minimum: 43.17/Hr.Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
