Empower Rental Group is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst in Franklin, TN!
Empower Rental Group is a family of local equipment rental providers across the Southeastern US. We began with 3 locations in 2021 with the goal of being the difference in the equipment rental industry by doing everything differently. We now have over 36 locations, and we are adding a Senior Financial Analyst to our team at the Support Center in the Franklin, TN location!
***This role will be on-site initially in Franklin, Tennessee, then hybrid). Candidates must be local to Nashville, TN, or within a reasonable commute radius.The hybrid role will require 3 days in the support center office. ***

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining complex financial models, forecasts, and reports to support decision-making and strategic planning at ERG. This role requires strong financial acumen, proficiency with data analysis tools, and effective communication with both finance and non-finance professionals. The SFA partners with leadership to evaluate performance metrics, guide budgeting processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and maintain complex three-statement financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Analyze financial results, KPIs, and variances to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Partner with business units and senior leadership to evaluate the financial implications of key initiatives.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and dashboards for leadership and the company's private equity sponsor.
- Support the preparation of executive and equity sponsor presentations, as well as financial communications.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support investment and planning decisions.
- Promote continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting tools.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems and reports.
- Collaborate with Accounting and other departments to ensure alignment of financial data.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Prior experience in a general rental (or similar) company, while not required, is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and meet deadlines.
- Team player with a professional presence and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or FP&A.
- Experience in a private equity-backed or multi-entity environment preferred.
