Fully Remote: Part-Time Tax Support Specialist
Job Description
Join a global pharmaceutical company as a part-time Tax Support Specialist, where you will assist with administrative tax accounting functions. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely and be part of a dynamic team that is willing to provide training on various tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sales and use tax research, compliance, and filing.
- Coordinate incoming tax notices.
- Support budget-related tasks.
- Perform tax calculations.
- Build less complex Excel models.
- Assist with treasury work.
- Participate in other special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Experience in indirect tax compliance, filing, and research.
- Proficiency in Excel, including basic formulas, sort/filter functions, and a willingness to learn new functions.
- Targeting part-time work, approximately 20 hours per week.
- Experience in tax reconciliation.
- Ability to create pivot tables and use vlookups.
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
This is a long-term remote contract opportunity requiring 20 hours per week. You will have the flexibility to build a consistent schedule with the team, making it ideal for those seeking part-time remote work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
