Position Overview: The Senior Financial Analyst provides disciplined and results-driven Financial Management support to the Program Executive Officer, Land Systems (PEO LS), in enhancing fiscal accountability, audit readiness, and strategic resource alignment. This position plays a key role in providing analytical, operational, and systems-based financial support to ensure accurate, timely, and mission-aligned resource execution. The Senior Financial Analyst will possess in-depth knowledge of DoD financial systems and processes, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.

Travel Requirements Approximately 10%

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides support focused on budgetary analysis directly related to the performance in relation to the defense systems projects within the responsible portfolio
  • Supports planning and control
  • Alerts the PMO to any potential causes for concern, which can in turn lead to revised and/or improved budget plans
  • Provides metrics criteria for performance evaluations to monitor and improve efficiency
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and DoD financial systems (e.g., DAI, EDA, PBIS, MCPRIME)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Successful experience working in a team environment

Preferred Requirements/Education:

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Minimum 15 years of related experience.
