Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a Senior Accountant. Summary: We are seeking a well-rounded Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, assist with month-end close activities, and contribute to various financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, and analysis
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP and local reporting standards
• Reconcile and analyze data from multiple systems, entities, and locations
• Manage fixed asset and capital expenditure reporting, including tracking and comparing against budget and forecast
• Collaborate with external advisors to support tax compliance, including preparation of returns and recordkeeping
• Provide backup support for payroll processing as needed
• Support internal and external audits, including responding to audit requests and maintaining compliance documentation
• Partner with leadership on continuous improvement, process efficiency, and implementation of best practices
• Assist with internal control development and maintenance
• Participate in systems and process upgrades, including ERP implementations and enhancements
• Prepare financial analyses and reporting to support strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with other corporate functions such as treasury, credit and collections, insurance, and risk management
• Contribute to special projects, including M&A due diligence and integration
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience; manufacturing or multi-entity experience a plus
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP; international accounting knowledge is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Able to work 100% in office
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
