Bell & Associates has been engaged to help our client find their next Sr. Accountant. This position supports Management, as well as the Finance and Accounting department by performing a variety of general accounting functions including work with General Ledger, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Inventory Management, Fixed Assets, Cash, and Controls. The Sr. Accountant will assist the organization with work related to the preparation and maintenance of financial records, preparation of budgets and forecasts, process documentation, carrying out internal controls over financial reporting and auditing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting tasks such as recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making purposes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
• Document processes and procedures and implement and test internal controls
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Provide support to other accounting team members as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, not required
• Ability to wear multiple hats
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience analyzing large volumes of data
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to change
• Ability to work quickly, independently, and with confidence to handle many challenges
• Work well with others in a fast-paced, non-stop environment
• Flexibility to changing work conditions, assignments, and schedules
