LHH Professional Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our Houston client. The ideal candidate will have experience in both accounting and finance. This role offers the opportunity to manage financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for international divisions, contributing to the financial success of a leading organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee financial reporting and analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  2. Manage forecasting and budgeting processes for international entities
  3. Support month-end closing and consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations and currency translations
  4. Prepare detailed variance analysis for internal management reporting
  5. Conduct sales reporting analysis and disaggregated revenue reporting
  6. Collaborate with the corporate FP&A group on annual budgeting cycles
  7. Provide data and analysis for external and internal audits
  8. Ensure compliance with SOX controls and maintain adequate reporting controls
  9. Stay updated on technical accounting pronouncements and apply new standards
  10. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance performance
  11. Work closely with peers to share best practices and facilitate improvements

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  2. Minimum of five years of relevant experience in both public accounting and private sector
  3. MBA preferred
  4. Experience with financial planning, analysis, and general accounting
  5. International company experience preferred
  6. Proficiency in SAP and BPC/HFM systems
  7. Advanced Excel skills
  8. Strong analytical and organizational skills
