The Physician/Faculty Compensation Analyst is responsible for providing analytic support related to physician/faculty and provider compensation and productivity efforts, including managing the Data Repository and Reporting Solution (Solution). Under the direction of the Physician/Faculty Compensation Leader, the analyst handles technical aspects of faculty and physician compensation, documentation, and communication; contributes to planning the Solution rollout; and analyzes faculty and physician productivity and compensation plans.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implements and updates the Data Repository and Reporting Solution, ensuring data accuracy and validity throughout its lifecycle.
  • Collects, consolidates, and reports compensation and productivity data.
  • Performs extensive data mining for reporting needs.
  • Develops and communicates enhancements to the Solution.
  • Ensures reports and dashboards support data-driven insights and transparency.
  • Improves the Solution design to enhance user experience and utility.
Data Integrity
  • Conducts validation, access controls, backups, and audits.
  • Resolves data errors and refines data elements for funding and productivity metrics.
  • Collaborates to improve data integrity and processes.
Reporting
  • Performs analysis, presents findings, and supports decision-making.
  • Prepares and distributes reports, compensation letters, and other data.
  • Analyzes plan outcomes, calculates impacts, and audits results.
  • Develops visual models, presentations, and reports for leadership and committees.
  • Supports data interpretation and presentation, including to non-technical audiences.
  • Maintains reporting structures and supports industry trend analysis.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in relevant fields such as business, finance, or data science.
  • At least 6 years of experience in compensation modeling, including 2 years with faculty physician models.
  • 3 years managing large databases and complex analysis.
  • Strong statistical, data mining, and modeling skills.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range is $110,000 - $125,000, depending on qualifications. The position offers a 100% appointment, with a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, tuition benefits, flexible spending accounts, and more.
