What does an Accounts Receivable Specialist do at Rinnai?
This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 3 years Accounts Receivable and Collection experience who will take full ownership of the A/R & Collections position at a medium-sized company. The candidate should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator, both electronic and over the phone, as this role will frequently deal with higher levels of management. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient at Systeline accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
- This position is located at 103 International Dr. Peachtree City, GA.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday
- Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

What you will do:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ACCOUNTING SUPPORT
- Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
- Make daily collection calls
- Conduct account research and analysis
- Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain an accurate aging report
- Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments
- Send statement to outstanding customers
- Reconcile A/R to the G/L
- Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
ADMINISTRAION
- Updating client accounts based on payment or contact information.
- Reprint and email invoices as requested
- Field incoming calls for billing information
- Preparing and editing letters, reports, memos, and emails.
- Timely submittal of standard deliverables.
ACCOUNTING/FINANCE
- All invoices and credits will be posted to sales register on a daily basis in order for end
- of the month procedures to be performed.
- Debit/Credit database will be updated daily.
- Debits/Credits from customers will be communicated to the appropriate department
- within 2 days.
- Follow up on department debit/credit requests on a daily basis.
- Help in processing chargeback letters for particular customers.
- All requests for billing information will be answered timely.
- All invoices and credits will be correct and mailed timely.
- Assistance will be given to accounts receivable as needed.
OTHER
- Demonstrates a consistently satisfactory disciplinary history
- Other duties and responsibilities as required
REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting, billing, customer service or related experience in corporate environment
- High degree of familiarity with accounts receivable functions.
SKILLS
- Extremely detail oriented
- Proficiency with various Microsoft Office applications
- Analytical, flexible and able to adjust and learn new processes and procedures
ABILITIES
- Multitask with competing priorities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze large sets of data.
