Delta Construction Partners is a national executive search firm for the nations premier electrical and general contractors and industry professionals. Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Estimator in Charlotte, North Carolina .

Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Electrical Estimator in Charlotte, NC is $90,000 $115,000 , depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full cycle of estimating and cost analysis under the guidance of senior preconstruction leadership.
  • Review drawings and specifications to ensure all required information is accounted for.
  • Develop cost estimates by soliciting vendor and subcontractor pricing.
  • Provide detailed quantity takeoffs and unit pricing for review by senior estimators or preconstruction leadership.
  • Collaborate with project managers and preconstruction teams during design-assist phases.
  • Meet critical deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Occasional site visits for verification and project understanding.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating with an electrical contractor.
  • Experience estimating commercial and/or light industrial projects .
  • Proficient in reading construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Computer proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Preferred but Not Required:

  • Journeyman License or Construction Management/Engineering degree.
