Title : Maintenance Technician
Address : Aiken, SC
Schedule : Onsite - 2nd shift 3p-11p - Must be available for OT & 1-2 Saturdays/month
Salary : $25-30/hr + 10% 2nd shift premium

What You'll Be Doing : Perform general and preventive maintenance on all equipment, machinery, and building facilities
Read and interpret engineering blueprints, manuals, and schematics
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns and electrical failures (including PLCs and controllers)
Service equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and plumbing fixtures
Dismantle, repair, and reassemble machines using proper tools and specifications
Fabricate parts for equipment repairs or improvements
Set up new machinery and assist in resolving production-related technical problems
Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, maintenance logs, and PM records using systems like Plex
Transport parts and equipment using forklifts or lifting devices when necessary
Communicate maintenance status effectively to incoming shifts and leadership
Follow all safety procedures and adhere to PPE requirements and Lockout/Tagout protocols
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, TPM, and lean manufacturing practices
Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For:
Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or factory environment
Experience with stamping presses, industrial robots, MIG welders, or resistance/spot welders required
PLC proficiency, huge plus
Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing
Able to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, hoists, and other industrial equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions
Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills
