About the Role The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Development to lead key fundraising areas within the Law School. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing major gifts, stewardship, research, and development operations teams. This role involves cultivating and managing a portfolio of leadership and potential leadership donors, as well as working closely with the Dean, senior staff, and faculty in alumni engagement and fundraising. The Executive Director will also be expected to contribute to the overall fundraising and stewardship strategy, participate in strategic planning, and create and implement fundraising plans to meet annual and campaign goals.
Applicants for the Executive Director of Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (graduate degree preferred) and a minimum of 10 years' professional fundraising or comparable experience, including staff management. The role requires a highly motivated, articulate, and creative individual with superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Evening and weekend work, as well as travel, may be necessary.
