Digital Product Owner (Contract)
Location Charlotte, NC|Onsite
Compensation & Schedule • Hours: Full-time • Employment Type: W2 • Contract Length: 12+ Months (possible extension) • Start Date: As soon as available
Role Impact As a Digital Product Owner, you will drive the delivery of customer-facing and employee-centric digital experiences by leading Agile scrum teams, managing product roadmaps, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Your work will shape scalable solutions by refining backlogs, crafting features and user stories, and ensuring alignment across business and technology stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities • Lead Agile scrum teams in the delivery of high-value digital product features • Create and manage product roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Conduct backlog grooming and refinement; ensure transparency of work • Collaborate with product analysts, stakeholders, and delivery teams • Evaluate product area goals and performance metrics; drive decisions accordingly • Accept stories upon meeting the definition of done and acceptance criteria • Coordinate prioritization and sequencing across multiple product areas • Ensure continuous communication with product managers and scrum teams
Minimum Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in digital product management or Agile product ownership • Experience with Agile (Scrum) practices and stakeholder collaboration • Proficiency in roadmap management and feature/user story development • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and backlog tracking systems

Preferred Skills • Background in user experience design or customer journey mapping • Familiarity with chatbot and AI-powered product environments • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-team collaboration abilities
