Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for the design, construction, and delivery of a lots within a manufactured home subdivision primarily within the greater Houston area. The Land Development Manager will serve as the lead contact for all development consultants and contractors while supporting the operations and leadership team. The core responsibilities will include preliminary acquisitions due diligence, managing the entitlement and design of the development, setting expectations with construction contractors, managing the bidding process, review of construction contracts, awarding bids, managing construction activity and diligently tracking development budgets and schedules. Primary Responsibilities: Work directly with engineers, governmental agencies, land planners, environmental consultants and any other necessary third parties for designing a manufactured home subdivision. Manage development and construction activity on site. Manage bid process and work directly with contractors to ensure timely mobilization of tasks. Track development and entitlement schedules, in addition to tracking and managing a development budget. Work directly with finance and accounting in relation to construction loan and construction spend. Review all development invoices. Review and redline construction contracts, easements, and professional services agreements in detail. Manage the design and construction of all recreation areas, water plants and sewer plants. Work diligently with sales and operations team during community hand offs. Work closely with manufacturers to ensure strong community lease up. Must have:

Experience of working with construction contractors, land planners, engineers, attorneys, architects, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of intellectual curiosity. Excellent time management, organization, presentation and project management skills. Extremely high attention to detail. Minimum undergraduate or graduate degree in real estate, construction management, business with equivalent years of construction management experience, or similar degree. Minimum of

four to seven years of land development

experience. Prior Residential land development experience is preferred. dvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Projects required. Extremely high attention to detail. Detailed knowledge of how to read surveys, easements, and construction plans .
