3rd shift - Electro-Mechanical Technician

ResponsibilitiesStraight 3rd shift. Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am. Overtime hours will be required both during the week and on some weekends. The qualified candidate is preferred but not required to have knowledge in the following areas:AC/DC wiring methodsAC/DC drives/motors/ VFD's & servo motorsPLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff)HMIMechanical systems (bearing, alignment, chains, belts)Pneumatics and hydraulicsDesign and fabricating is a plus but not requiredPreventive & predictive maintenance on production machineryMill and Lathe experience is a plus but not requiredFanuc/Robot experience is a plusExperience using a CMMS systemConveyor systemsThe following lists the job tasks and responsibilities that the Maintenance Technician will be performing:Works safely and follows all related policies and programs to assure a safe working environment.Reading blueprints, diagrams, electrical schematic and hydraulic drawings to determine work requirementsInstall, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors according to layout plans using hand and power toolsInspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctionsInstall, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsAdjust machinery and troubleshoot defective partsOperate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks and forklifts, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machineryClean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance/preventative work on machineryOther job tasks and projects as assignedQualificationsAll candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have or be working towards a minimum of a 2-year associate degree.
