Korpack is on the hunt for a

Maintenance Technician

As a key player in our maintenance team, you'll be the go-to technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our equipment to ensure smooth operations and maximum productivity. This is a high-autonomy role where your technical skills will shine and your contribution will be felt across the business.

What You'll Do - Key Responsibilities

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

Own the maintenance schedule and perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment per planned schedules. Be the eyes and ears of the operation, identifying early-stage issues and fixing them

before they disrupt production . Diagnose & Repair:

Troubleshoot and repair

electrical

and

mechanical

equipment, including PLC systems, motors, gearboxes, cylinders, pumps, valves, and more. You'll use your expertise to address everything from minor issues to complex challenges, keeping equipment running smoothly. Hydraulic & Pneumatic Expertise:

Dive deep into troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Your skills will be crucial to ensuring that all systems function without failure and

maximize uptime . Electrical Proficiency:

Use your knowledge of 12-48V DC and 110-480V AC systems to perform electrical diagnostics and repairs. You'll be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical components, starters, relays, and drives. Install & Configure Equipment:

Take part in the installation of new equipment, ensuring that all systems are wired correctly for both power and control. You'll also be responsible for reading and understanding technical manuals and blueprints to

get everything right the first time . Safety-First Approach:

Follow all safety guidelines, including Lock Out / Tag Out procedures, and comply with OSHA requirements. Your work will keep our facilities safe and our team protected from hazards. Continuous Improvement Mindset:

Always look for ways to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. Whether it's recommending process changes, upgrading equipment, or implementing best practices, your proactive approach will help elevate Korpack's maintenance standards. What You Bring - Qualifications & Skills

Problem-Solving Expertise:

You live and breathe problem-solving. Whether it's electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic issues, you have a knack for diagnosing problems quickly and effectively, minimizing downtime and getting production back on track. Technical Proficiency:

You have a strong understanding of electrical troubleshooting, mechanical systems, and PLCs. You've got hands-on experience with AC/DC motors, starters, relays, drives, and more. You know your way around tools - both electrical and mechanical. Team Player:

You're comfortable using

Microsoft Office

(Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and familiar with

CMMS

(Computerized Maintenance Management System) to log maintenance activities and track performance. Attention to Detail:

Education:

Ideally, you're a graduate of an industrial apprenticeship program or have completed a

2-year technical school

with at least

3 years of industrial experience . Alternatively, you've spent at least

5 years working as a maintenance electrician/mechanic

in an industrial manufacturing setting. Experience:

You're no stranger to industrial facilities and have hands-on experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment. You've also worked with a range of electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and PLCs.
