About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Talent Acquisition (TA) Specialist to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our HR team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying and acquiring top talent to be a part of Saratoga Hospital. In this role, you'll partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop innovative recruiting strategies, and ensure a seamless candidate experience from sourcing to onboarding. As a TA Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of shaping our workforce, guiding management in selecting, transferring, and promoting top talent—both externally and internally. You’ll create an exceptional candidate experience while leveraging cutting-edge tools and technology to maintain a thriving pipeline of talent. In this role, you’ll also harness the power of HR data, using the Applicant Tracking and HRIS systems to generate insightful reports that drive key hiring strategies and workforce planning.

What You’ll Do

Manages the job requisition and posting process; reviews applications, resumes and credentials for suitable skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.

Determines applicant qualifications by conducting effective candidate phone/video screening and presenting to hiring manager for consideration, schedules interviews accordingly.

Actively sources passive candidates and utilizes innovative sourcing strategies and techniques to identify and attract the right talent for the right position.

Partners with hiring managers and develops effective recruitment strategies by understanding their needs and expectations.

Provides guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruiting and on-boarding process for new hires and ensures a positive candidate experience.

Determines salaries according to compensation policy and guidelines, presents offers to selected candidates and coordinates pre-placement screening (health assessments and drug screen appointments).

Monitors and tracks open position status and progress, suggesting alternative sourcing techniques when necessary.

Identifies and participates in job fairs, school campus recruitment events, and networking opportunities.

Partners with marketing to advertise and promote careers at Saratoga hospital internally and externally using various sources such as social media, radio, billboards, community partnerships, and other appropriate outlets.

Utilizes Applicant Tracking System and HRIS systems to create reports to analyze key TA metrics impacting recruitment, retention, and internal promotions. Routinely conducts position analysis to compare budget versus actual FTEs to maintain fiscal accountability within department staffing levels.

Approaches all work activities with a customer service focus being mindful of HR as a service department in support of the organization.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Associates Degree required

Bachelor Degree in business, human resources or related field preferred

Min of 3 years Human Resource experience required.

Recruitment experience preferred

Experience with business intelligence (database) reporting preferred

Experience with progressive recruitment strategies preferred

Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and all levels of leadership

Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

Effective critical thinking skills

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task

Strong technical capabilities including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other online search & candidate sourcing techniques

Excellent follow-through and a high sense of urgency

Must be driven and self-motivated with a positive and professional approach

Keeps current on pertinent employment laws and regulations
