Position Summary
We are in search of a strategic and experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to oversee the design and implementation of effective, scalable Salesforce solutions. This influential role merges technical know-how with strategic insight to connect technology with business ambitions and Salesforce best practices. As a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients, you will engage closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and devise solutions. As part of the Salesforce Center of Excellence, you will have considerable influence on enterprise architecture while gaining insights into leading Salesforce technologies across various industries.
The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in Salesforce architecture and development, proven leadership capabilities, and the knack for translating complex concepts into understandable terms for varied audiences. Key Responsibilities
Ensure architectural governance and compliance while contributing to the establishment of guiding principles and standards.
Work closely with stakeholders to guarantee solution alignment with business objectives.
Assess and select the appropriate technologies, frameworks, and platforms.
Analyze technology trends to inform decisions and contribute to vendor evaluations.
Lead the development of end-to-end solutions fulfilling business requirements.
Translate business and technical needs into well-defined solution designs.
Create architectural blueprints through collaboration with product owners, defining integration methods.
Guide and support development teams during implementations, managing architecture across projects and evolving the portfolio roadmaps.
Architect and design Salesforce implementations for various projects or complex initiatives.
Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to clients and internal Salesforce teams.
Conduct discovery sessions and assess current Salesforce utilizations, generating reports, solution roadmaps, and actionable recommendations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and prioritize functional requirements.
Develop prototypes and proofs of concept to validate solutions and aid project design.
Design and document robust data models related to Salesforce clouds, securing scalable solutions.
Oversee configuration, testing, quality assurance, deployment, and release management processes.
Assist in user story development and ensure success criteria are documented.
Engage in solution reviews, recommending enhancements for performance and architecture.
Act as a release manager for Salesforce environments in alignment with DevOps best practices.
Support project planning, scoping, and estimation efforts alongside cross-functional teams.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of architecture experience.
Preferred Salesforce Solution Architecture Track certifications.
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform, Visualforce, and Lightning Components (LWC) required.
Background in Salesforce Experience Cloud and Manufacturing Cloud is preferred.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes is preferred.
Experience with large-scale CRM or member services implementations and data migration activities is preferred.
Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
